Revving up the summer with 2008 OREA President Gerry Weir (Agent 008)!

Attention all leisure and avid motorcycle riders! The REALTORS Care Foundation Ride for Charity will take place in Ontario this year and we are pleased to have the support of 2008 OREA President Gerry Weir participating.

We have an exciting agenda and route for participants, so check out our website for updates.

Remember, you do not have to ride the entire route to participate in this event. You simply need to tell your supporters that you are only riding a portion of the route.

Register or pledge your favorite rider!

Our website will help you set up your web page to let all your family, friends and clients know how they can pledge you to reach your goal.

You'll be able to upload a picture of yourself or any photo you wish to identify yourself.

Every Rider will receive a free souvenir T-shirt and you can purchase extra to give away if you wish.

There will be a special commemoration dinner event in London at the Hilton Hotel, sponsored by the London St. Thomas Association of REALTORS^® and the REALTORS Care Foundation celebrating the Riders finishing their ride.

The following people were presented their Foundation Fellowship by Laura Leyser, Foundation Chair, during the OREA Assembly meeting on February 27th, 2008.

The Foundation congratulates the new Fellows. They join a prestigious group of REALTORS^® and professionals who work in the real estate profession, and have contributed to their local board or community through leadership and volunteerism.

REALTORS Care Foundation Spirit Award - Criteria

• Sponsors, general public, related Real Estate profession and REALTORS^®
• Promotion of the Foundation in a positive manner
• Board of Governors have to approved of candidates
• REALTOR^® or Staff at any local real estate board can make a recommendation
• Current sitting Governors are not eligible
• To be presented annually at the OREA conference

The Canadian Association of Home & Property Inspectors – Ontario raised close to $500 in two hours for the REALTORS Care Foundation at the annual OREA conference on February 28 th , 2008.
